Okay so I haven't had much to update since I made this, BUT the time is approaching fast. In 10 days I'll be headed over to Europe for 5 months! It's still completely unreal to me so it's hard to emanate how exciting it is for me. For me, I won't be completely stoked until I step off that plane in Heathrow. I've never been to Europe so it's something so completely new to me that I cannot even wrap my head around it. Anywhooo, so here's what has been going on...
I've ordered my books and gotten some of the essentials out of the way. I still have some loose ends to tie up but for the most part I am ready to pack my bags. I got my room assignment the other day (probably would have gotten it sooner had I checked my school mail regularly). I'm living in one of the student apartments in the town of Riva with a few other girls. It should prove to be loads of fun. I know some people wanted to stay in the villa, but I wasn't too particular. I also think that having the apartment will be nice. After living in the dorms for 2 years, I'm pretty much over that whole way of living. Then again, I don't care where I sleep as long as I'm in Switzerland. Plus I have the benefit of my professors not seeing me first thing in the morning looking oh-so stellar.
For those of you who want to keep in touch, etc., I have a mailing address of sorts. I'm not sure if this is the exact address, since I don't know which apt. number I'm in yet. I only know the address of the apt but you might as well have that. You can stalk me on google earth or something...I don't know. Plus you might as well have my address given out a hundred times. I'll give more details later but here is the basic address:
via C. Maderno 1, 6826
Riva san Vitale
Switzerland
Hmmm I'm trying to think if there is anything else, but my brain is ready to shut down for some shut eye. Once I get to Switzerland I will start uploading a ton of pictures so it will get more visual than me just rambling on about apartment assignments and books.
Well until next time, ciao!
